SERTC has been awarded a Cooperative Agreement. Please read carefully regarding the application for DHS/FEMA-funded courses. This new agreement will allow SERTC to provide training October 1, through September 30, of this year to those who meet the requirements set forth by DHS/FEMA — qualifying individuals must be from state, local, or tribal organizations. Federal employees are not eligible to apply. (Federal employees may, however, enroll under Open Enrollment.) Availability of cooperative agreement funding is contingent upon completing the application and SAA’s approval process. One application per course. Applications and those on waiting lists prior to October 1, are required to complete a new application. There are no guarantees as seating is limited. Be advised that the SERTC Calendar is on a calendar year January 1 – December 31, of this year.
