At the Security and Emergency Response Training Center (SERTC) our commitment to customer service carries through in every training interaction, every question we answer in the classroom, and to every new course we’ve developed in 38 years.
Since the launch of SERTC’s new Alternative Fuels and Flammable Incident Response and Management (AFFIRM) course, we’ve been learning with our students, and expanding on flammable liquids emergency response course content to include alternative fuels and electric vehicle (EV) emergency response.
We believe that actions speak louder than words. We’ve recently been humbled and inspired by feedback from our customers, and we’d like to share some of that with the community. Thank you to Fresno Fire Department for spending some of your valuable time with us. We’ll let them speak for themselves on the experience:
“I recently attended the AFFIRM class through SERTC in Pueblo, CO as part of my continuing education as a fire captain. I can confidently say it was one of the most informative and well-structured courses I’ve taken. The instructors brought a wealth of knowledge and real-world experience to the table, clearly explaining the unique challenges and hazards associated with alternative fuel sources such as electric vehicles, hydrogen, and natural gas. The course was engaging from start to finish, with a great balance of classroom instruction and practical scenarios that reinforced key concepts. I left the class feeling better prepared and more confident in my ability to respond effectively to these types of incidents. This course is an invaluable resource for anyone in the fire service.”
“I had a fantastic experience attending the SERTC Alternative Fuels class! The instructors were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, making complex topics easy to understand and engaging. The hands-on demonstrations and real-world applications really helped solidify what we learned in the classroom. I appreciated the welcoming and professional environment, as well as the opportunity to connect with others in the industry who share an interest in sustainable energy solutions. Overall, the class exceeded my expectations and left me feeling informed, inspired, and excited about the future of alternative fuels.”
