This 3-day intermodal response course prepares you for the most common issues and emergencies involving hazardous materials shipped in intermodal containers—whether it’s bulk, non-bulk, tanks, conex boxes, or specialty containers. We cover it all! Not only do we provide thorough classroom instruction, but we also take you outside to train on real equipment, ensuring that your education is backed up with hands-on experience every step of the way.
What to expect: • Classroom instruction including the rules governing intermodal construction, transportation, common features, and emergency response • Hands-on review of valves and fittings, leak repair methods, and transfer methods • Full-scale responses to intermodal emergencies involving bulk gasses and liquids, non-bulk containers, and more!
Required Prerequisites: Current HAZWOPER or Hazmat Technician
