Forrest Wieder

Forrest has over 35 years of experience in emergency response including EMT, Paramedic, Paramedic Supervisor, Hazardous Materials response team Chief, and Director of Special Operations within the Office of Emergency Management.

Forrest has served as an adjunct instructor for PA State Fire Academy, Lehigh County Community College, Northampton Area Community College,  and Bucks County Community College. As a FEMA responder, Forrest served on PA Task Force One (PATF-1) and as an element leader on PA Company 3 (PACO-3).

After 27 years as an emergency service responder, Forrest joined the SERTC instructional Team. His position at SERTC was not new to him, Forrest was a student at SERTC before he accepted the position as instructor, attending the Tanks Car Specialist, Intermodal Specialist, and Incident Command courses.

Forrest has enjoyed many years at SERTC as an instructor and in 2020 accepted the current position of Executive Director.
